Hi! Today I’m launching a new section on this blog, where I’ll be focusing on writing reviews (of course, sharing my own personal opinion, which may differ from yours if you’ve tried the same perfume) about one of my passions: perfumes.

The lucky one I’m kicking off this section with is Strawberry Milk Shake by Flower Knows, one of the most visually beautiful perfumes in my collection. And if you follow the Flower Knows brand, you’ll know that all of their designs are absolutely gorgeous — and this one is no exception.

It’s one of the two perfumes from the Strawberry Cupid line, and this is the one I chose, as the main note is strawberry. Since I’m a lover of sweet perfumes, it felt like a much better option for me than the other one in the line.

The notes of this perfume are:

    Top notes:
    Strawberry

    Heart:
    Caramel

    Base:
    Vanilla, musk

As you can see, it’s quite a simple composition, so it’s pretty much impossible to go wrong with this perfume. I can especially pick up on the strawberry and caramel notes; however, in my opinion, the vanilla isn’t very noticeable. I think it works more as a softener for the strawberry, making it remind me of those classic strawberry sweets we’ve all tried at some point. I honestly think all these notes come together beautifully.

The only downside I can find with this perfume is its longevity. Unfortunately, it only lasts around two hours on the skin. That said, it’s not really a problem if you have a small atomiser where you can decant some of the perfume and carry it with you to top up throughout the day. Every time you reapply it, you feel like the pretty girl you are, wrapped in a cloud of sweetness.

To make the scent last longer, you can pair it with the very famous Kwailnara strawberry body cream. They smell quite similar, although the cream has a more realistic strawberry scent. Even so, they complement each other perfectly and it’s one of my most-used combinations for everyday wear.

Another option to help the scent last a bit longer is, as I mentioned, always carrying a small atomiser in your bag. On top of that, you can also take the Strawberry Cupid pink hand cream from Flower Knows with you, as it has the exact same scent. I bought it specifically to keep in my handbag, and it really does help the perfume last longer when you layer them together.
